REMEMBER: Be sure to perform all necessary maintenance, as prolonged exposure to methanol or ethanol fuels can lead to internal corrosion, reduced flow, and even injector lockup problems.
We do not recommend the use of oxygenated (MTBE) fuels such as VP C85, VP Q16, VP Import, FTW, 260 GT, EXO2 107, and others, as they may cause flow and performance issues.
Warranty Information
Warranties
The following parts are covered by a limited-time warranty, with the period counted from the day of purchase:
• New Injectors: All injectors marked as New have a 1 year warranty.
• Reconditioned Injectors: All injectors marked as Used Certified have a 4 month warranty.
• Re-manufactured Injectors: All injectors marked as Re-manufactured have a 1 month warranty.
Items must be purchased directly from us. If purchased through a dealer, please contact them for returns under their return policy.
*Warranties will be honored to the original owner and can not be transferred.
To Determine Warranty Eligibility:
• Contact us at warrantiesandreturns@ecrperformance.com before sending the injector set. Include your name, phone number, order number, and a description of the problem.
• You are responsible for shipping costs to and from your address. Provide us with the tracking information once available. Ensure proper packaging to prevent damage; ECR Performance LLC is not responsible for damage due to inadequate packaging. All returns must be prepaid and adequately insured. ECR Performance LLC is not responsible for packages lost in transit.
• Upon receipt, we will inspect and test the injector set and provide a determination within 3 to 6 business days.
Covered by Warranty:
• This warranty covers electrical and mechanical issues of the injectors. Regular maintenance is required and is not covered.
• Injector deterioration over time through normal usage is not covered; it is considered a maintenance issue. Properly maintained fuel injectors can provide excellent performance for many years.
• Fitment and tuning issues that may arise are not covered. Professional installation and tuning are highly recommended.
Not Covered by Warranty:
• Fire damage
• Use of unapproved fuels specific to the injectors
• Bent or broken injector bodies
• Use of oxygenated race fuels (VP Q16, VP C85 , VP Import , FTW , 60 GT, EXO2 107, MTBE, etc.)
• Missing or damaged parts
• Tool marks from improper installation or removal
• Broken, cracked, scratched, melted, or missing electrical connectors
• Broken, bent, or missing pintles
• Severely corroded metal bodies
